Welcome to the Alliance Française de Berkeley!

       We are a non-profit organization, a chapter of the Federation of Alliances Françaises. We have been devoted to the promotion of French culture and language in the East Bay since 1962. At the yellow house at 2004 Woolsey Street in Berkeley we offer French classes, conversation groups, films, conferences, and book and video/DVD libraries. A monthly calendar of activities is available on this site. We are conveniently located just east of the Ashby BART station.
